Alderman Russell Stamper continues to attract capital and investment to the 15th District. Recently, he approved the $11 million development at 15th and North Avenue. The affordable housing project will rehab a property and build a new property adjacent to the rehabbed building. Under Alderman Stamper’s leadership, the 15th District has seen an enormous amount of interest from developers.
The new development will also create a number of construction jobs. Alderman Stamper hopes to connect 15th District residents to these jobs. The Alderman says, “Development projects have to be more than just brick and mortar…they also must positively affect the lives of local residents, in a number of ways.”
